Harlen's Drywall was started in 1977 and incorporated in 1979, nearly five decades of commercial interior work in Vancouver, Washington. The standard founder Harlen Hiller set for the trade in the Portland–Vancouver metro is the same standard the company is measured against today.
The current principals run the company hands-on: Tim Hiller as Owner and CEO, Tami Thompson as Corporate Secretary & Treasurer, and Michael Hiller as Vice President & Project Manager. Together they keep Harlen's operating the way it has for decades: full commercial-scope crews, clean coordination with general contractors, and the kind of repeat-client relationships that don't happen by accident.
Across more than four decades, Harlen's has been the team behind the walls of the region's most demanding commercial projects: hospitals and medical office buildings, schools and civic spaces, hotels and luxury auto dealerships, mixed-use towers and tenant improvements. The longevity isn't accidental. It's the result of showing up, doing the work right, and earning the next project one job at a time.

Tim Hiller
Owner & CEO
Tim grew up in the trade and now leads daily operations, maintaining quality standards and client relationships. As primary principal on the company's Washington State contractor license, Tim oversees project execution across the Portland–Vancouver metro.
Tami Thompson
Corporate Secretary & Treasurer
Tami co-stewards the family business alongside her brother Tim, ensuring the company's administrative and operational foundation remains strong as it enters its fifth decade.
Michael Hiller
Vice President & Project Manager
The third generation of Hillers in the business. Michael brings a deep understanding of the trade and a modern, analytical approach to estimating and project management.
